At Autogrill’s Secchia Ovest location, on the A1 Milano-Bologna motorway, Aldo Papa, COO Autogrill Italia, cuts the ribbon to open the first Fido Park with Antonello Deiola (Cucciamica), Paolo Manzi, chairman of Enpa (Ente Nazionale Protezione Animali) and Giorgio Celli, ethologist and expert on pets’ behaviour and needs.
Inside the Fido Park, dog owners must keep their dogs on leads and use the disposable doggy bags/scoops provided. They can also leave them in a special kennel area built by Cucciamica, which is temperature controlled for dogs, has a cleaning system to eliminate all organic waste and is regularly sterilized with specific inert disinfectants and bactericides.
