The Multicenter is the biggest culture and leisure facility in the heart of the city. This is an ideal location for “Puro Gusto”, the contemporary coffee shop concept developed by Autogrill for a multi-cultural clientele: modern coffee, Bakery&Fine Food, select cafeteria and delicatessen specialities and wines.

The store is one two levels: a fast flow area on the ground floor and a lounge for a more relaxed break on the upper level.

Puro Gusto will also host literary coffee shop initiatives and events.

Exhibition in Milan

Open from 4th to 12th November at the Ottagono in Piazza Duomo in Milan and from 14th to 30th November in the nearby Loggia dei Mercanti, Autogrill’s exhibition tells the story, in words and photos, of an Italian company set up in Milan thirty years ago and which is now a byword in 41 countries around the world.

For the second year running over 230 events, mostly free, will enliven Turin and Milan for three and a half weeks.

Since 2006 Autogrill is supporting the “Progetto Magnifico”, an initiative by the Ministry of Culture, Associazione Mecenate 90 and major Italian enterprises which foster the development of tourism.

The Project’s aim is to promote the country’s cultural heritage, as can be seen in numerous centres of excellence, by offering citizens and tourists who want to organize their own holidays/visits timely information and tips on choosing destinations appropriate to their needs.

The premises recently underwent some major restyling, in partnership with the Expo organizer Cosmit, by the famous Milan architects Studio Cerri e Associati.

The organization of space suggests the long and narrow shape of the “bean pod” – one of the buildings designed by Fuksas for eating in the Fiera – thus evoking the ambience of a restaurant car.

To complete the Group’s concept portfolio with an "Italian bar", Autogrill has opened the “Gran Café Motta” in the middle of Zurich. It’s a contemporary revisiting of the old Bar Motta, a Milanese café founded in 1928, maintaining the original key features: magnetic meeting place, elegant ambience, select products and focus on details.

A restyling that combines classic and design elements in a typically Italian atmosphere – conjured up by chandeliers, porcelain, mirrors, wood and high quality products, thanks to Autogrill know-how.

Autogrill is supporting an initiative by the Culture Ministry on the European Heritage days, which are annual events, instituted in 1999, celebrating the meeting of cultures and the beauty to be found in Europe.

To honour this occasion, on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September 2010, all Italian museums, the repositories, par excellence, of the country’s archaeological, artistic and historical, architectural, documental, cinematographic, theatrical and musical heritage, will be open to the public free of charge.

The new service area located on A8 Milano-Laghi highway, has been the protagonist of opening event during which the innovation content and sustainability approach characterizing the project were presented to the authorities and the Company’s main stakeholders. The event had several entertainment-moments.
