Starting today, 20 June 2022, Autogrill officially joined the new MIB® ESG index of Borsa Italiana, which includes the 40 best Italian companies in terms of sustainability.
An important recognition for our company, which has been focusing for many years on ESG topics and that is taking its commitment to the next level with the new Make it Happen Roadmap, further integrating sustainability into our way of doing business.
Launched by Borsa Italiana in October 2021, the MIB® ESG index is the first of its kind in Italy and aims to give relevance to the best performing Italian companies from an ESG prospective.
In fact, the index combines economic performance with the analysis of the ESG practices of the largest companies listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, performed by the rating agency Vigeo Eiris (part of Moody's ESG Solutions), in line with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
