Autogrill Group wins a new contract for 7 years at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport

Thanks to travel food specialist HMSHost International, the new contract will generate an estimated turnover of €146 million

The operation is part of an expanding partnership started since 2012 when the managed locations were only 16. From now on there will be 27 Food & Beverage locations which will be fully operational as of mid-2019. A successful cooperation of this two partners. The personal approach of the Group that makes travellers feel at home at any moment perfectly matches the airport’s mission that focuses on guest satisfaction, quality and high efficiency.

Sabiha Gökçen, located on the Asian side of the city, is the second Instanbul Airport and, with a very strong annual growth of passenger traffic, is regularly one of the fastest growing international airports since 2008. A highly respectable result for one airport that started operating international flights only in 2009. It takes name from the adoptive daughter of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (Founder and the first president of the Turkish Republic), considered one of the "20 Greatest Aviators in History".

The opening of seven new F&B  outlets, located variously in the new domestic boarding hall, takes into account the different visiting areas and the customer mindset that goes with them, for example different appetites, in order to create a well-balanced mix of concepts.
