Bistrot at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport recognized for Best Green Concession Practice or Concept

The 2018 ACI-NA Business of Airports Conference held in Portland, Oregon celebrate the achievements in airport concessions, human resources, finance, and business diversity and success and innovation in commercial programs at North American airports. 
It is the industry’s forum to help airports and stakeholders better understand the evolving airport business model.

This year HMSHost won three awards confirming as top provider of travel dining and world leader in infusing innovation and culinary expertise.

 

1st place for Best Green Concession Practice or Concept

1st place for Best New Food and Beverage Concept (Full-Service)

thanks to Book & Bourbon Southern Kitchen located in the pre-security Main Terminal at Louisville International Airport.

Book & Bourbon’s menu offers a selection of comfort dishes developed by HMSHost’s culinary team based on regional influences and big flavor. As the name recalls, the restaurant offers a list of more than 85 bourbons including several rare labels like Pappy Van Winkle, Angel’s Envy Cask Strength, George T. Stagg, Jefferson’s Presidential Select. The beverage menu also includes a craft cocktail list. Last but not least, the educational part of Book & Bourbon embraces both the new bourbon drinker and the advanced bourbon palette.

2nd place for Best New National Brand Concept

thanks to Shake Shack base at Los Angeles International Airport’s Terminal 4.

The aim of Shake Shack is to deliver 100% all-natural Angus beef without hormones or antibiotics ever. The proprietary Shack blend is freshly ground and all burgers are cooked medium unless otherwise requested, served on a non-GMO Martin’s Potato Roll.
